​QRS therapy is a non-invasive treatment that applies intermittent,  current pulse-generated magnetic fields through the body for relatively short periods of time; 8 minutes, 16 minutes, or 24 minutes.

This treatment concept is far from new; in fact, PEMF was introduced by Nikola Tesla (1856 - 1943) in Europe over 100 years ago. Europe embraced it as a leader in alternative medicine.

Following FDA approval as a Class One Device in 1979. Since then, the FDA has approved PEMF therapy for reducing post-operative edema (swelling) and pain, as an adjunct to cervical fusion surgery, medication /treatment-resistant depression, and treating certain cancer conditions like glioblastoma and metastatic malignant pleural mesothelioma. This treatment approach has been in clinical use for several decades in treating orthopedic indications, such as bone formation, non-unions, osteoarthritis, and more. In more recent years, it has been effective in managing chronic pain, knee osteoarthritis, wound healing, bone fusion, even Parkinson's and cancer.​  Some patients have immediate relief while others see effects over a few months.

PEMF therapy is 100% safe for people of all ages, but it's not recommended for people with pacemakers, insulin pumps, or other electrical implants, or for pregnant women.

  • In 2021: "Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) as an adjunct therapy for pain management in interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome."
     

  • In 2023: "PEMF has potential as an effective adjuvant therapy that can suppress the progression of Rheumatoid arthritis."
